We are located in Thomasville Pennsylvania. Due to Covid-19, we have had to close the doors on our physical locations. However, you can continue to order your favorite Tastie-Teas right here online! OUR TEA
BLACK TEAS include Pu-Eerh,Darjeeling, Earl Grey, Spiced, Fruity, Smokey, and Estate Teas.
PU-ERH TEAS
Aged like a fine wine gives this type of tea it's medicinal properties. Known to be used as an aid for cholesterol, cardiovscular health, and weight loss.
DARJEELING
Known as "The Champagne of All Teas". First flush darjeeling harvested from February to mid April. This is considered the best flavored tea of the season. Leaves are the most delicate and tender at this time, and produce a cup of flowery aromatic, and delicate tasting tea.
The Second Flush is harvested from May to June. This gives the tea a more astringent flavor and a darker brew.
EARL GREY
Tea that is infused with the bold taste of the Bergamot Orange. Bergamot oranges are often grown in Italy and France.
SPICED TEAS
Our spiced teas are blended with cumin, corriander, shaved cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, white and black peppers, tumeric, cloves and some are blended with various fruits.
FRUITY
We use a variety of fruits and vegetables in many of our teas. White, Black, Green, Herbal, Rooibos and Oolong Teas.
SMOKY
A few of our teas have a very smoky flavor that people love. They are also used as a smoky marinade for meats!
ASSAM
Assam Tea gets it name from the region it is produced. Mostly in Assam, India. This tea has a smooth, robust, and lightly sweet flavor enjoyed by many. Often used as a breakfast tea with a little milk and honey.
ESTATE
Our Estate Teas come from all over the world, featuring China, Japan, India, Sri Lanka and the UK. Our teas come from plantations that are part of the E.T.P. (Ethical Tea Partnership). This helps ensure the sustainability of the tea, the lives of the workers, and the environment where it is produced. They are usually a blend of black, green, earl grey, Assam, and Ceylon.
GREEN TEA
We offer a variety of green tea from a low grade Bancha to a Sencha style leaf to a kukicha, Gyokuro, Gunpowder, and Matcha
WHITE
White tea is the purest of all tea. It undergoes NO processing. It is harvested only 2-3 days out of the year. It is a very light, crisp, yet full flavored tea. Steeping time must be strictly adhered to if you wish to avoid a bitter taste.
HERBAL
Herbal teas, popular to contrary belief, actually DO NOT contain a single tea leaf. They are comprised of various fruits, spices, and herbs to create some of the best tasting "Teas" available. Many are enriched with lots of Vitamin C, and are naturally caffeine free.
ROOIBOS
Pronounced (Roy-Boss)
"Rooibos" which means "Red Bush" is often called Red Tea. It is grown in South Africa and is naturally caffeine free. There is also a "Green Rooibos" which does not undergo fermentaion much like a white tea. This makes the Green Rooibos a more expensive tea and a more "Grassy" flavor.
DE-CAFFEINATED
Our De-Caffeinated teas undergo a decaffeinating process using the CO2 process which allows for an almost 100% caffeine free product.
CHAI
We offer Chai teas in all our tea categories. Green Chai, Black Chai, Herbal Chai, Matcha Chai, Chocolate Chai, Vanilla Chai, and Indian Spiced Chai.
